WWE Superstar Asuka set to return at Royal Rumble 2022
One of the top WWE Superstar, Asuka, who had not been appearing on WWE TV due to the company’s creative issues, is set to make her return at Royal Rumble 2022.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast noted that the WWE Star Asuka is cleared by now to return to the company. She may appear at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event as a surprise entrant in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match.
Asuka last appeared on WWE TV at this past July’s Money in the Bank Event when she competed in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. It was reported that in August, WWE didn’t have any storyline for her, and she is not injured as well. But she said that the reason for her absence was utterly different to what was said on those reports.
Asuka was out of action due to an injury
The Empress of Tomorrow took to Twitter last September and posted a photo of herself wearing an arm brace, which clearly confirmed that she was out of action due to an injury. The Top WWE star also revealed that she had undergone dental surgery after being kicked in the mouth by Shayna Baszler during a tag team match on an episode of RAW.
Asuka later revealed that she was recovering from two injuries, and she got new teeth 6 months after her match with Baszler. However, it is still not confirmed when she will be in action.
She tweeted:
“I finally got new teeth! It took 6 months since I lost my teeth. Thank you Dr. Byron M Blasco.”
Asuka is one of the top stars in WWE and Raw could do with the Japanese star returning soon.
