Andrade El Idolo lashed into ‘hater’ Dave Meltzer for never speaking well of him or his partner Charlotte Flair
Andrade El Idolo suffered a disappointing defeat against Kenny Omega in the main event of TripleMania XXIX.
Andrade was pinned by Omega after the latter hit the One-Winged Angel. With that win, Omega successfully retained his AAA Championship, just a day after losing the Impact World Championship to Christian Cage at AEW Rampage.
It was a night to forget for Andrade, who was accompanied by Ric Flair, who was recently released by the WWE.
While both of Omega’s matches were great in their own ways, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer gave his verdict on both the matches in his recent podcast.
He indirectly pointed out that the second match (Andrade vs Omega) was ‘not so great’ because of Andrade.
Meltzer was quoted as saying:
“Kenny was working to have a GREAT match but Andrade was only working to have a GOOD match.”

Meltzer’s comments did not sit well with Andrade El Idolo. He had actually noticed it only after a fan had tagged him in an audio clip of the same.
Quote tweeting the same, Andrade explained that Meltzer’s hates him and “will never speak” good about him or his partner Charlotte Flair. The AEW star did not hold back.

“That man hates me and will never speak well of me or my fiancée but all the fans love him for the garbage that comes out of his mouth. i’m a pro and I showed it yesterday and LA SOMBRA is back to show everyone i’m better than waiting for a stupid star rating(DM).”
