Rebecca Peterson

The Swedish tennis pro has been in fine form as of late. She finished runner-up in consecutive tournaments before arriving in Angers. In the ITF event in Meitar, she lost to Mirra Andreeva in the final, and last week, she lost to Alycia Parks in the finals of the WTA Andorra Open.

Peterson has made it to six quarterfinals in 2022. However, her hunt for a title this season is still on. She will hope to have a deep run in the tournament and her solid runs in the last few tournaments will surely hold her in good stead.

Jaqueline Cristian

The 24-year-old made her Grand Slam debut this year at the Australian Open. She was ousted in the second round. Madison Keys. In the doubles event, she partnered with Andrea Petkovic and made it to the third round.

Head-to-Head and Prediction

Jaqueline Cristian has a 1-0 lead against Rebecca Peterson in the head-to-head scoreline. The Romanian player progressed at the Linz Open last year after Peterson retired while trailing 5-2 in their match in the round of 16.

Prediction: Rebecca Peterson to win in three sets.
