Why Paulo Dybala will be a fantastic signing for Liverpool this summer

Cristiano Ronaldo’s impending arrival at Juventus could lead to many changes at the Allianz Stadium with Paulo Dybala reportedly attracting interest from Liverpool.

Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s Portuguese superstar, could make a stunning move to join the Italian champions this summer. And if the deal does go through, Liverpool are ready to pounce on Dybala.

Juventus are understandably reluctant to sell Dybala but they could be forced to do so upon Ronaldo’s arrival. But do Liverpool really need the Argentine playmaker?

Jurgen Klopp has made vast improvements at Anfield since taking charge of the club in 2015. Liverpool have been playing an attractive and expansive brand of football that has left Europe in awe.

Although they lost the Champions League final against Real Madrid, Klopp is not far from achieving something special with the Reds.

But if the German tactician is to guide the Merseysiders to their first league title win in 28 years, he must add another world-class forward to his ranks this summer. To that end, Dybala is a tailor-made player for Klopp. The prolific attacker scored 22 goals in Serie A and was one of the key figures in Juventus’ title-winning campaign this past season.

Blessed with a magical left foot and a keen eye for goal, Dybala’s potential arrival could make the already-terrifying Liverpool attack almost unstoppable.

The Reds have one of the best-attacking units across Europe, boasting the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Add Dybala to the ranks and the Reds will arguably have the most fearsome attacking unit in the continent.

Dybala is one of the most talented players in European football, with his top-notch qualities on the ball and vision second to none. The Argentine is a proven goalscorer with his clever, speedy and creative style of play well-suited to Klopp’s exciting system at Liverpool.

The diminutive 24-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line and he would provide strong competition for Liverpool’s deadly trio.

The Argentina international could be an influential member for the Reds and punish Premier League teams with his left foot next season.

Dybala plays as the secondary striker at Juventus but he could play behind central striker Firmino in Liverpool colours. By doing so, he will be tasked with orchestrating the play and making intricate passes to carve open defences.

It will not be easy to acquire Dybala from Juventus’ clutches but if there is a chance to sign him, Klopp should not think twice about pulling the trigger this summer.
