Becky Lynch was the Raw Women’s Champion in 2020 but why did she leave WWE?

Becky Lynch made a surprise return to WWE at SummerSlam 2021. She had been out of action since May 2020 but replaced Sasha Banks in the title clash against champion Bianca Belair.

Banks had been expected to miss the clash but no real reason was provided by WWE as to why. This got a lot of fans upset and it was Carmella who was keen on replacing Banks and face the EST of WWE.

However, Lynch shocked the WWE Universe by coming into the scene. She destroyed Carmella and then challenged Belair for the belts.

Belair accepted the challenge but this match didn’t go as as she would have planned. The EST of WWE was destroyed by Lynch, who became the new SmackDown Women’s champion.

While WWE might have botched a few things in this segment, it was great to see Lynch back. She was possibly the biggest star when she leave WWE but why did she do that?

The Man was expected to continue performing after defeating Shayna Baszler on 4 April 2020. However, she was only cutting promos and made a big announcement after Money in the Bank 2020.

Asuka was the winner of the briefcase and Lynch was going to hand over the case to her for some reason.

However, Lynch shocked the world by relinquishing her title and handing it over to Asuka. Asuka was as surprised as anyone and Lynch confirmed she was pregnant with Seth Rollins’ child.

This was not storyline and Lynch had to stop competing because she was expecting. Rollins and Lynch were blessed with a baby girl on 4 December 2020.

The pair were engaged since 2019 but finally got married in 29 June 2021. Lynch had been teasing returns for a while as she was in great shape, but it came as a bit of a surprise that she made her comeback in such weird circumstances.
