The Austrian turned professional in 2011 and has won 16 titles in his career, until 2019.
Thiem’s highest ATP ranking till 2019 was fourth, which he achieved in 2017, and he is the world No. 5 while taking part in the 2020 Australian Open.
Thiem is seen as one of the ‘next gen’ players in the men’s circuit, and he has a lot going his way at the moment.

Thiem has also lost a couple of French Open finals to Nadal, however, he should be in the frame to pick up a Grand Slam soon if he keeps performing at the top level.
The Austrian also reached the final of the 2020 Australian Open but lost to Novak Djokovic in five sets.

Thiem is one of the biggest stars in the tennis circuit, at the moment, and it only makes sense that he has several endorsement deals.
Reports suggest that the 26-year-old has a deal with sports giants Adidas while his other equipment is provided by Babolat.
The Austrian also has deals with the Bank of Austria and Rolex while Thiem has also advertised vehicles for Kia Motors.
Who is Dominic Thiem dating?
The Austrian used to date French star Kristina Mladenovic from 2017.
The 26-year-old Mladenovic was the girlfriend of Thiem till 2019, and she is a quality tennis player in her own right.
Mladenovic has won four Grand Slam doubles titles and a couple of Grand Slam Mixed doubles titles as well.
The 26-year-old doesn’t have a great record in singles competition, but she did start 2020 with a bang by bagging the Australian Open.

However, the pair could not continue their relationship due to tennis commitments. Thiem’s father, Wolfgang, confirmed that they had split in 2019.
