FIFA 22 has two editions but should you buy the Standard or Ultimate edition?
The release date for FIFA 22 is October 1. But if you pre-order the game, you can play it earlier. Fans of FIFA can pre-order the new FIFA 22 right now. EA is offering free bonuses for the people who pre-order FIFA 22.

FIFA Ultimate Edition
The FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition has many bonus features. Players should also note that if you own a next-gen console, i.e. PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, you should buy the Ultimate edition as the normal version is not playable on the new next-gen consoles. It also applies if you are planning to upgrade or buy a next-gen console in the upcoming months.

If you are a FUT player we recommend that you pre-order and buy the Ultimate Edition. The bonus FIFA points as well as the early access to the game is an excellent feature to get an edge over the competition. You should be aware that the pre-order content can disappoint you. You may get an unwanted OTW card or FUT hero. But the other bonus features are definitely worth it.
Casual players who prefer career mode, pro clubs or the occasional kick-off match should buy the standard edition. We recommend that you wait for a while as you can also get a discount after the hype dies down a little. Till then, you can enjoy FIFA 21.
