Bret Hart has been spending much of his recent time on charitable endeavors regarding stroke recovery and cancer awareness, due to his personal experiences with both.

He has also been seen in many meet and greet sessions with his fans. He also does some paid promotion of his endorsement deals via his social media handles.

Bret also announced his upcoming NFT Project a couple of months ago, Bret Hart’s Cartoon World. NFT stands for non-fungible token. It’s a digital collectible that has exploded in popularity over recent years.

He also does the #AskTheHitman Q/A session on Twitter and also gives shoutouts to his fans when he is impressed by the love they shower on him.

Bret Hart thinks one surprising superstar can replace Bill Goldberg in the Hall of Fame

Bret Hart has been quite open in his criticism of Goldberg. He has taken various subtle digs at his fellow Hall of Famer.

Hart has named Barry Horowitz as someone who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame instead of Goldberg.

The 64-year-old told fans tuning into his Highspots virtual signing on Facebook that Horowitz “was a really good wrestler” who “never hurt anybody“. Bret couldn’t say the same about Goldberg – that’s why he doesn’t think his old WCW nemesis/peer should’ve been inducted by WWE back in 2018.

Goldberg has had his instances where he has inadvertently injured his opponents. He faced The Undertaker at 2019’s Super ShowDown and it is remembered as one of the worst marquee matches in recent times.

In the fourth installment of The Last Ride, The Phenom said, “It’s just like, wow, that was really close to being catastrophic.” The match was filled with botches. Goldberg almost broke Taker’s neck with a botched Jackhammer.

However, after that match, Goldberg pulled up his socks and produced two very impressive matches against Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns respectively. It is without doubt that Goldberg has a legacy of his own.
