In a low stakes match that could really go either way, The Miz went up against Rey Mysterio, who was joined by his son Dominik Mysterio at the ringside to start off the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022.
As Rey and Mysterio battled it out during the match, there came a moment when the referee was checking on Mysterio. Still, On the other hand, The Miz went to attack Dominik, who was causing a nuisance to Miz, but Dom was clever enough to dodge that move and smack Mizanin right to the face.

In a contest battle fairly dominated by the former World Heavy Weight Champion with his swift moves and the famous 619. However, The Miz did show some counter moves, but it was not enough to put the veteran away. As Mysterio got the victory via pinfall. After the match, Mysterio gave a Frog Splash to The Miz.
