Victoria Azarenka Career
Victoria Azarenka started her tennis career at a very young age and also debuted at the ITF Junior Circuit in 2003. Within two years of debuting in the junior circuit, Azarenka claimed the number one spot in the world junior rankings. In 2006, she made her senior debut and in the same year, she also registered her first win at the US Open.
She started the year 2007 ranked at 96 and with a pretty successful year, she also went on to finish the year as the 27th ranked women’s tennis player in the world. The subsequent year saw Azarenka reach the Australian Open doubles final. However, she failed to win the title in the end.
2012 proved to be one of the most successful years in her career. She went on to win her first grand slam which was the Australian Open and also claimed the number one spot on the WTA singles rankings. The subsequent year she went on to retain her Australian Open title as well. Since then, she has had a tough road battling with injuries however, she has started to emerge back again. In 2022, she has kicked off her Australian Open campaign with a win and has also made it to the third round already.
