In the past, Venus was known to have dated Cuban model Elio Pis. They met in the year 2012 when he modeled for her new brand – Eleven. They split up in 2017. Williams has also dated golfer Hank Kuehne. The relationship started in 2006 but ended after their engagement in 2010.

On February 25, 2002, she attained the World No 1 ranking, becoming the first African-American to do so. She repeated her success at Wimbledon winning it in 2001, 2005, 2007, and 2008. The American bettered her game to win 2 US Open titles in 2000 and 2001.
Williams, at 41 is ranked at No. 111 after recovering from Sjögren’s syndrome in 2011. She has reached 83 finals in her WTA career till date.
