It is a great opportunity for American football fans to watch their favorite sport during the long NFL offseason. The USFL which was disbanded back in 1985, is once again back in 2022.

People are usually left to wonder how much the players playing in the USFL are actually earning. Even though the players aren’t making an amount similar to players in the NFL, it’s still a great payday for aspiring players.

Here is the detailed breakdown regarding which type of player will be earning what amount of money during the course of the entire season.

For Training Camp and Regular Season:

  • Active roster USFL players get $4,500 per week during the regular season; which totals $45,000 for the full 10 weeks.
  • Practice squad USFL players get $1,500 per week during the regular season; which totals $15,000 for the full 10 weeks.
  • Additionally, active roster players receive a bonus of $850 per win.

For the postseason in USFL:

  • A bonus of $850 per win continues to apply.
  • Each active player on the team that wins the USFL championship receives a one-time $10,000 bonus.
