The Polish tennis pro has been in sensational form this season. She has already won six titles thus far. Out of the six titles, her French Open triumph is certainly the biggest.

Swiatek has played in four tournaments since her successful French Open campaign but has not progressed beyond the quarterfinals. However, she wouldn’t be too concerned as she aims to win her third Grand Slam title. Last year, she bowed out in the fourth round at Roland Garros.

The Italian has a huge task in front of her. She reached two semifinals in back-to-back events at the Palermo Ladies Open and the Poland Open. However, her performances on either side of those two tournaments are not really promising. A standout win she got this year was against then World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in the Indian Wells Masters.

She recently took part in the Granby National Bank Championships where she was ousted in the second round by Rebecca Marino. The World No. 57 will have to bring her A-game and then some to come up trumps against Swiatek.

Head-to-Head and Prediction

Iga Swiatek and Jasmine Paolini faced each other only once back in 2018. Swiatek made light work of the Italian and currently leads the head-to-head scoreline 1-0.

Prediction: Iga Swiatek to win in straight sets.
