Three UFC stars feature in the latest Sports Illustrated’s SI Fittest 50 list of 2021

Women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and Two-division women’s champion Amanda Nunes feature in the top 10, while heavyweight Jon Jones comes in at number 5.

One of the most complete fighters of this generation, Shevchenko is ranked number 7 in the fittest 50 list.

Shevchenko cemented herself among the elites of the game after she put on another stellar show against Jessica Andrade at UFC 261. ‘Bullet’ had no trouble in seeing off the Brazilian, as she cruised to a two-round TKO victory.

She has remained at the top of the game for ages, having lost only to Amanda Nunes in the UFC.

One of Shevchenko’s greatest rivals, Amanda Nunes, takes up the second spot in the list.

Amanda Nunes showed the world why she is hailed as the GWOAT (Greatest Woman of All Time), when she was matched up against a 6ft tall Megan Anderson. The Australian’s height had no effect on the Lioness, as she trounced Anderson in double-quick time.

The two-division champion has been unparalleled in the UFC, and even a force like ‘Bullet’ Valentina is reduced to mere dust in front of the Brazilian.

Jon Jones takes up the 5th spot in the Fittest 50 men

Heavyweight newcomer Jon Jones came in at number 5. The light-heavyweight GOAT recently moved to the heavyweight division after relinquishing his light-heavyweight belt.

Right now, he is expected to take on the heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou.

Bones has always remained in shape during his days as the light-heavyweight champion. And now, he has put on at least 50lbs of muscle for his heavyweight adventure.

The man is a beast, and his recent training videos suggest that he will certainly be a force to reckon with in the HW division.
