Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul will be taking place two and a half months from now

Tyron Woodley will be squaring off against Jake Paul on the 28th of August, later this year. The fight will be a pro-boxing match, marking the professional boxing debut of the former UFC fighter.

For Paul, it would be his fourth professional boxing fight. As soon as the fight was made official, the pair had their first public face-off. Paul was in his element, with his usual taunts and trash-talks.

However, a few days later the pair had their second face-off. This time, it was for a photoshoot. So, Paul did not have his crew with him, and visibly looked nervous during the face-off.

In a recent interview with Real Quick’s Mike Swick, Woodley claimed that he could very easily figure out that the YouTuber was nervous (during both the face-offs).

Woodley said, when asked by Swick about what he (Woodley) felt when he looked into Paul’s eyes:

“He’s nervous. He’s nervous and he felt like he thought he was supposed to look a certain way or look away or play it off, or basically not make a big deal of it…But he was just nervous. He was breathing out.”

Jake Paul is 3-0 up in his professional boxing career

Paul made his pro-boxing debut in January 2020. He faced YouTuber AnesonGib in his first match, and defeated him via. knockout in the first round.

He then took on Ex-Basketballer Nate Robinson in Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. undercard (November 2020), once again winning via. knockout.

And finally in April, this year, he faced a combat sports athlete for the first time. Paul took on Ben Askren, but the result was the same once again.

3-0 up, Paul is a confident man, and will be looking forward to dispatching Woodley as well.
