Nate Diaz has come out in support of Chael Sonnen

Nate Diaz has become the latest star to come out in support of Chael Sonnen after a recent altercation.

TMZ reported that Sonnen was charged with five counts of misdemeanour battery after an alleged altercation at a Las Vegas hotel.

Reports suggest that Sonnen was banging at a hotel room door and then got into a physical altercation with five people.

The UFC legend was then taken away in handcuffs by the Las Vegas police. However, Sonnen was only detained and not arrested.

He was also given citations for charges but no other details are available of the incident. While we await further news on the same, Diaz was quick to share his thoughts on this.

The Stockton star didn’t seem to care about what happened and wanted Sonnen to be free:

“Idc what happen free @ChaelSonnen”

Diaz isn’t the only UFC star to back Sonnen in this. However, there is another UFC star who decided to take a bit of a shot at the legend.

Jon Jones calls out Chael Sonnen

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones wasn’t taking this incident lightly. Bones was quick to have a bit of a go at Sonnen but also claimed that he was taking the high road.

Jones, for his part, has been on the wrong side of the law several times. He was arrested recently during his UFC Hall of Fame fight wing induction.

Jones had struck his fiancee in front of his kids, and this was his latest run-in with the law. However, Jones claimed he would not celebrate Sonnen’s incident and wanted to wish all those involved the best.

Sonnen has slammed Jones several times in the past for his alcohol issues and more. However, Jones brought this up too and wished his rival “good luck”.
