Conor McGregor jumped divisions to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 196 after beating Jose Aldo at UFC 194 and was reminded of an incredible body transformation

Conor McGregor has done it all in the UFC as he is one of a handful of stars to hold two belts at the same time.

McGregor might not be holding any UFC gold now but he is always making news. The Irishman is now keen on a trilogy with Dustin Poirier and Dana White confirmed this could take place in the summer.

However, McGregor has also created a lot of UFC history over the years. One saw him defeat then UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo in 13 seconds and win the unified title. The Irishman then went up a couple of division to take on Nate Diaz in his next fight.

That took place at UFC 196 and it was just five months after his win over Aldo. Chamatkar Sandhu of BT Sport brought up the incredible transformation from McGregor and the Irishman responded in typical style:

However, he wasn’t the only one who got hold of this tweet. Diaz defeated McGregor at UFC 196 but then lost the rematch at UFC 202.

Diaz has been looking for a fight since losing to Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title and trashed McGregor’s comment.

“I f***** you up and u never got it back but u acted like u did now u get a rematch every time u get your a** beat like a spoiled Little b**** would

“I’ve done it all and I’m still here plus the guy who just beat ur a** is a scared Lil b**** also f*** u both #realfighter”

While Diaz was referring to McGregor’s ability to get a rematch as and when he pleases, he also took a shot at Poirier.

The Diamond and Diaz were to meet a few years back but that fight fell through. Diaz has called out Poirier and it is to be seen if the pair ever meet.

Diaz certainly is doing his bit to stay in the news and he too is one of the biggest names in the UFC. A trilogy between Diaz and McGregor would be a blockbuster event but so would Diaz vs Poirier.

McGregor and Diaz are two of the biggest trash talkers in the UFC and their third fight could just break the record for most PPV buys too.
