Nate Diaz recently provided an update on his rumoured matchup with Dustin Poirier

Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier have been going back and forth almost periodically for a month. Their verbal war became prominent after Poirier lost his title fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 269.

Since then, a welterweight contest between the pair has been looming large. With none of the talks becoming official, Diaz provided an update on the fight.

In a recent Tweet, Diaz revealed that he had contacted the UFC about the fight and that the promotion said: “Dustin sucks.”

‘The West Coast Gangster’ also took a dig at lightweight champ Charles Oliveira.

Here is what Diaz tweeted:

“I just talked to the ufc I said wassup with the Dp fight I wanna fight asap but they said Dustin sucks and they don’t want it sorry Dustin you suck hope to fight asap tho let’s do this. Ps Olivera you suck too.”

Dustin Poirier provides update on $20k donation to Charles Oliveira

Following UFC 269, Dustin Poirier had promised to donate Charles Oliveira $20k. Now that it has almost been a month, Oliveira recently revealed that he hadn’t received the promised amount.

Poirier, took to Twitter to provide an update on the same. ‘The Diamond’ confirmed that he was going to “honor it.”

His Tweet read:

“For anyone asking about the $20k donation I promised, of course I’m going to honor it! We have been in contact with Charles and his team. We are waiting for them to figure out what project they want it donated to.”
