Khamzat Chimaev continued where he left off at UFC 267. ‘The Borz’ demolished Li Jingliang and earned a first-round submission victory to go 4-0 up in the UFC.
The Swede wasted no time once the bell rang, as he just lifted Jingliang as if he were a piece of cake.
Lifting Jingliang and slamming him near the fence, Chimaev had a quick word or two with UFC President Dana White, who was watching, stunned.
Chimaev just tortured Jingliang on the canvas, as the latter struggled to get off ‘The Borz’s hold – but of no avail.
In the end, a ridiculously tight rear-naked choke from Chimaev got the job done. Jingliang was nearly left unconscious.
It now looks like the hype is real. Having gone 3-0 up in the UFC, in no time, many believed that Chimaev would fizzle out once the difficulty of the opponents increased. However, at UFC 267, Chimaev showed that he was vastly superior to his counterparts.
It now looks like, only welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and number 1 ranked Colby Covington would give him a hard time.
