Tyson Fury recently praised Khabib Nurmagomedov for his dominant career which was later acknowledged by ‘The Eagle’
It is no surprise that Tyson Fury is the latest in the list of boxers who have turned into MMA fans. ‘The Gypsy King’ also most recently expressed his interest in boxing the UFC heavyweight champ and congratulated him on his title defense against Ciryl Gane.
Fans of combat sports were delighted to see the respect and admiration he showed to Khabib in a recent post in which he wrote “This man did it right. Got in and won and got out on top”
Khabib had openly praised ‘The Gypsy King’ several times in the past and also picked him as the pound for pound best boxer currently. Being recognized by him must have meant a great deal to him, which he made clear by reposting his Instagram story and captioning ‘Real recognize real’ on a later post.
Khabib who is spending most of his time these days promoting and establishing his MMA promotion ‘Eagle FC’ still manages to stay relevant thanks to his unparalleled career.
Khabib Nurmagomedov sent a warning to UFC asking them to have their fighters treated properly
Ahead of Eagle FC’s first event in USA, Khabib took time to answer questions during media day. Flanked by new-recruits Kevin Lee and Diego Sanchez who were once a part of the UFC, ‘The Eagle’ issued a warning to top MMA promotions viz. UFC, Bellator, stating that they would have to be careful with the way they treat their fighters.
The former lightweight champion revealed that the door would always be open to fighters who feel they are not treated the way they deserve to be.
Here is what he had to say:
“I think big organizations like UFC, Bellator, they have to be careful with their fighters because Eagle FC is here…I just wanna say be careful. If they don’t treat their fighters good, Eagle FC is here.”
