Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor are one of the greatest rivals in UFC history

It has been almost three years since Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor squared off in the UFC. The pair fought at UFC 229 in October, 2018 – a fight Khabib won via. submission in the fourth round, popularizing McGregor’s nickname- McChicken.

Khabib and Conor are still pelted with questions of their rivalry back in the day.

In a recent interview with RT Sport, Khabib spoke about Conor McGregor’s recent form, especially after his flirtations with retirement began.

Since 2016 (when he became the double champ), McGregor has fought four times, and has managed to win only one fight – against a washed Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.

Putting the same into perspective, Khabib said McGregor always looks like a “scared chicken” while fighting stronger opponents (especially himself and Dustin Poirier), while he looked like a lion against Cerrone (since he was clearly a weaker opponent).

‘The Eagle’ was quoted as saying:

“When Conor fought Cowboy, he looked like a lion. When he fights stronger opponents he looks like a scared chicken.”

Ali Abdelaziz feels Jake Paul would “spark” Conor McGregor’s a**

Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz did not like it when Conor McGregor recently claimed that he would spark Kamaru Usman in a welterweight contest.

Although, Usman gave it back to the Irishman, asking him to stay quiet, Abdelaziz wasn’t done.

Quote tweeting Usman’s reply to McGregor, he wrote:

“I think Jake Paul spark is ass also.”

Talks of a Usman-McGregor fight have been rife of late, although the welterweight champ doesn’t seem to be one bit interested in the contest.
