Israel Adesanya has been on a warpath on social media after his win over Paulo Costa at UFC 253

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya shared a screenshot where he was open to fighting Paulo Costa.

The much-anticipated UFC 253 clash saw Adesanya destroy Costa in two rounds. Izzy completely demolished Costa with several kicks in the first round, and then knocked the undefeated Brazilian down in the second.

The New Zealand-Nigerian star also celebrated wildly after the fight and called out Costa for being disrespectful in the past.

Izzy has since taken shots at Jon Jones, Costa and Khamzat Chimaev too, but the 31-year-old revealed he was open to facing the Brazilian in the future.

Adesanya shared a clip of the two stars meeting after his win, and in the message he wanted Costa to be more respectful of Izzy in the future.

The undefeated UFC Champion also asked about Costa’s leg and claimed a few more wins for the Brazilian could see the pair meet again.

Bigger fish to fry

While Costa was humbled at UFC 253, Izzy has been on another level since that win. His dance celebration got a lot of people talking, and one celebration that can’t be mentioned too.

However, the UFC champ is still keen on taking on Jones in the future. The pair have battled on social media repeatedly and it will be interesting to see what is next for Adesanya.

Jones is in the Heavyweight division now as he looks for a rival while Adesanya is possibly the greatest Middleweight we might have seen in the UFC.

Adesanya vs Jones in a catchweight fight could be one of the biggest events in the history of the UFC. The Middleweight division seems easy for Adesanya at the moment, and even Daniel Cormier believed that the champ would be a problem for most of the Heavyweights and Light Heavyweights.
