Conor McGregor delivered one of the most iconic line at the UFC Dublin post fight interview against Diego Brandao- ‘We are not here to take part, we’re here to take over’. Ian Garry was part of the ‘International fight week’ card this past weekend, when he faced Gabe Green. Garry pretty much dominated the whole fight, and dropped Green with a powerful shot in the third round. Green was able to get back to his feet, and initiated a clinch. The Irish Man continued his onslaught on the feet, chopping the lead leg of his opponent, and tearing through his guard to land big shots.

In the end it was enough for him to score a unanimous decision victory, and and Garry improved his MMA record to 10-0. Impressed by his performance, Conor Mcgregor showered praises on the young Irish lad. He wrote, ‘Ian Garry was incredibly impressive this weekend. Fully immersed in it all. Enjoying every second. Willingness to engage / commit. The Potential for another “future” Irish mma ufc champion rose by a real nice margin this weekend. Congrats Ian, keep going brother!
