However the video did not impress former two division UFC champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo. He picked holes in McGregor’s stance and guard that was all the way down. He even criticized the Irishman for his lack of distance control.

The pair have gone back and forth on several occasions in the past, but this one came as as surprise bearing in mind that McGregor is known for his pristine boxing skills. Cejudo reacted to the video on Twitter by saying, ‘ Your hands are down and your distance is off. Stay away from them yes men. Just a tip from the 🐐’

It’s been a longtime criticism from MMA experts that the reason behing Conor’s downfall is due to the lack of a truthful team, that is brutally hones with the MMA superstar. Cejudo even aimed a slight dig at Conor suggesting him to pay heed to his advise, since he is the most decorated combat sports athlete of all time.

“I think I could help Jorge become a more technical fighter” – Henry Cejudo offers his support to make Jorge Masvidal a better fighter

It’s been a recent trend in MMA, where a lot of top-level fighters have either jumped ships or undergone a training camp at Fight Ready, Arizona. One of the most elite gyms in the game today, built its reliability and reputation, by dint of former UFC double champ- Henry Cejudo.

His latest target seems to be the UFC BMF belt holder, Jorge Masvidal, who lost to Colby Covington at UFC 272. The fight was a rather one-sided affair owing to Covington’s pedigree in wrestling. ‘Triple C’ has cited that he can make Masvidal a “more technical fighter.”

He sat down with The Schmo to discuss the idea of him training Masvidal, and said that he would help the Miami native control distance inside the ring, improve not just his wrestling in the traditional sense, but also develop an all-round grappling prowess that works in modern-day MMA.

He said, “I think I could help Jorge become a more technical fighter. He’s too smart. I’ve always had so much love for that dude. I’m bummed out that I haven’t been able to have that relationship with him. My door will always be open for @GamebredFighter”

A change in camp for a brief period can revitalize Masvidal’s career that is on all-time low slant. ‘The Gamebred’ is on a three fight losing streak for the first time in his career, and it will be interesting to see how his career shapes up should he accept Cejudo’s invitation.
