The UFC paid tribute to one of their employees, Heather Ceballos who recently passed away. The promotion posted a Tweet bearing her photo and year of death, with the caption: “In memory of Heather Ceballos.”
For unknown reasons, the Tweet has been deleted by the promotion’s official Twitter handle. It was very well there on their page for more than 12 hours, until they decided to remove the Tweet.
Ceballos was the manager of the offline captioning workflow for the MMA promotion. She had been in this role for more than 15 months.
Just a week ago, the UFC mourned the death of their makeup artist Suzy Friton, who had lost her battle with cancer.

Ceballos worked as a caption editor and a transcription manager, captioning videos according to client specifications. She has mentioned it as a job that requires excellent grammar, hearing and judgement skills. She also was open to working under any captioning software.
She left the company in March 2015.

After having been a part of Video Caption Corporation for three years, Ceballos joined the UFC in March 2015.
She began working as the offline captioning coordinator. Her job was to make sure all the productions of the UFC were close-captioned according to FCC regulations.
After spending 5 years as the offline captioning coordinator, Ceballos was promoted to the role of the manager for offline captioning.
She took up the post in February 2020 and remained in the role until her death in 2021. She spent a total of 6 years and 7 months with the UFC.
