Gerald Meerschaert wins the internet by comparing Donald Trump and Joe Biden Presidential Debate to UFC fight

Donald Trump and Joe Biden took the Presidential Debate to a new low but Gerald Meerschaert still saw the funny side of it

The 2020 President Debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden might go down as one of the worst ones held.

Both candidates interrupted the other several times, failed to properly answer questions from the moderator and flat out made incorrect statements during the debate.

Further, Trump failed to condemn white nationalists and asked for the Proud Boys, a right-wing organisation, to “stand back and stand by”.

This was a mess of a debate with many criticising how both candidates took their chance to get people on their side.

While a major section of them called out Trump for not calling out racists and white nationalists when he had the chance several times.

Gerald Meerschaert, like most, was watching the debate and he had the perfect take on the disastrous way it was held.

The perfect comparison

Meerschaert brought out how poor this debate had been and wanted it to end like his last fight. The American took on the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev at UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Woodley and was knocked out in 17 seconds.

This was Chimaev’s third consecutive UFC win and he moved to 8-0 in his MMA career. Meerschaert had spoken a lot about destroying the rising UFC star in this fight. However, he was gracious enough to accept that things didn’t go his way.

The 32-year-old is one of the most experienced MMA stars on the roster with 45 fights under his belt. While Meerschaert didn’t win the last fight, which would have been great, he did win the internet with possibly the best tweet regarding the awful Presidential Debate 2020.
