The MMA world is on tenterhooks as Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 is fast approaching. The pair will be looking forward to settling their rivalries once and for all when they face-off in the main event of UFC 264 on the 10th of July.

Having defeated Poirier at UFC 178 back in September 2014, McGregor thought it would be another cakewalk when he scheduled to face-off against the ‘Diamond’ at UFC 257, almost 7 years later.

But, Poirier had other plans. He knocked out McGregor with a flurry of punches and levelled the scores in their rivalry.

And now, they are set to face-off in a trilogy bout in Las Vegas. The victor will get to face Charles Oliveira, the lightweight champion, in a title bout.

A lot of predictions have been coming in for the fight as it inches closer.

UFC Legend Georges St-Pierre sat down with his coach Firas Zahabi and gave his prediction for Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3. GSP stated that McGregor would be good in rematches and hence picked the Irishman to emerge as the winner.

“I think McGregor is very good in rematches. I think he is gonna have a victory.”

GSP also revealed the round McGregor would be getting the finish:

“I think he is gonna…probably gonna win in the second round.

However, his coach Zahabi went for Poirier. He also stated the reason for the same.

“Because GSP picked McGregor I am going to pick Poirier…I think Poirier…At 155lbs McGregor’s power is maybe not exactly what it used to be and he is gotta do 5 rounds.”
