Daniel Cormier seems keen on getting into WWE and fighting Roman Reigns that would be news all across the world

The rivalry between Daniel Cormier and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is making quite a lot of news.

Cormier, who is a big WWE fan, retired from the UFC after losing his trilogy to Stipe Miocic. DC is still regarded as one of the best MMA talents of all-time and is a former two-division UFC Champion.

However, he has taken up the role of a commentator and analyst for the UFC since. Reigns, who is playing the role of a heel in WWE, recently called out Cormier and claimed he could destroy the former UFC champion.

DC tried to respond to The Tribal Chief but ended up tagging the wrong Twitter account. This was all the fuel that Paul Heyman, Reigns’ manager, needed and he hit out at DC.

Reigns too wasn’t done and again claimed that DC had gone soft behind the MMA table:

Heyman also took a hilarious shot by claiming that DC would only be enhancement talent in WWE. This, and Reigns’ comments, riled up Cormier and he tagged Triple H and Vince McMahon to get a fight ready against the WWE star.

He also brought up noted MMA journalist Ariel Helwani into all this:

“My advisor @arielhelwani is waiting by the phone. Its time to stop talking and let’s make this real! I’m 42 years old with a bad back and I’m whippin you any day of the week. Your move @VinceMcMahon @HHH this my yard , I’m the big dog!”

Daniel Cormier is still learning the wrestling and Twitter game

While DC going into WWE wouldn’t be a big surprise since many celebrities from other sports have featured in the wrestling promotion, the former UFC Champion still needs to learn a thing or two.

One has to be about tagging the right profiles on social media. He messed up tagging Reigns in his first tweet and this time, he tagged the wrong Triple H profile.

Helwani was there to remind him about that, and it will be interesting to see if DC learns this.

Cormier moving to WWE would be a natural progression given that he is done with the UFC. DC is a great wrestler and can talk a bit of trash on the microphone too.

WWE has several talents that have MMA experience but DC would probably be the biggest one in the company since Ken Shamrock.
