Daniel Cormier trusts Francis Ngannou to be like Brock Lesnar when it comes to fame

Francis Ngannou is just a few days away from quite arguably the biggest day in his MMA career. The Cameroonian is primed to take on Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight championship.

Of course, he tried to go for gold once before against the same opponent, but he fell short then. But that was UFC 220, and this is UFC 260.

Ngannou is a different beast now. He has worked on his game in that time and training with someone like Teddy Atlas would only make him even scarier.

Miocic’s chin can take hits all day long but there has rarely ever been a challenge like Ngannou in his career and he would know that the French-Cameroonian would demand more respect and attention this time around.

The American is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time in UFC and had quite arguably the most memorable trilogy of fights ever when he battled Daniel Cormier for the title at 265.

DC thinks Francis Ngannou can replicate Brock Lesnar

And DC now thinks that Ngannou could be the man coming from Miocic’s crown. Not only that, but he also thinks that he can mesmerize the crowds like Brock Lesnar did when he made the journey from WWE to UFC.

And then he imagined what heights Ngannou could reach if he was to win his next two fights. It is highly likely that Jon Jones, one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, will face the winner of Miocic vs Ngannou 2.

If Ngannou was to win it, DC says, he would be a global star. And he is correct. But with Ngannou being 35 at the end of this year, time is slowly running out.

The two heavyweights are primed to fight for the title on March 27th and finally, the heavyweight division seems ready to crown a new champion.
