Tyson Fury recently defeated Deontay Wilder and Dana White was asked about the Gypsy King joining the UFC

UFC president Dana White had a lot to say about the recent Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury fight.

The match was the second time the two heavyweights met, and it was Fury who came out on top.

The 31-year-old has dabbled in other ‘sports’ in the past with one big match in WWE. Fury won his clash at Crown Jewel 2019 and looked good in the ring.

The UFC president wanted to see the big Brit in the Octagon.

“I’m interested in the future of Tyson Fury in all combat sports. He looked good, fought the perfect fight.”

The TMZ interviewer asked if White was interested in seeing him in the Octagon, and the UFC president agreed:

“Of course, I am excited to see him no matter where he goes. If he wants to fight in the UFC, I would love it. I am excited to see what’s next for him in boxing.”

Wrestlers have tried their hand in the UFC but boxers haven’t really made that big a splash in the Octagon.

Fury in the Octagon would be something to marvel at, however, the British star has other pressing matters.

Wilder vs Fury III

White also said that Fury fought the perfect match against Wilder, as the British star won the titles.

The pair are set to meet again in the trilogy after Wilder exercised his right to another fight.

The clash will take place on 3 July at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Wilder will be looking to regain his titles, but Fury has been in incredible form since returning to the ring.

Wilder will be under a lot of pressure to regain his titles, and this should be an interesting fight.
