Viral survival trainer Dale Brown caught up with Khabib Nurmagomedov after he cornered Jaoquin Buckley at UFC Vegas 48
Dale Brown became a viral sensation for his unconventional and gimmicky survival techniques. Joaquin Buckley smartly decided to ride on the wave of the new internet sensation and invited Brown to corner him at UFC Vegas 48.
Buckley went on to defeat Abdul Razak Alhassan via unanimous decision and clarified why he had Brown in his corner by saying, “When I realized UFC wasn’t promoting as it should…That’s why I brought this man in here, to help promote this fight. I probably never had as many people watching this fight.”
Brown took this opportunity to chop it up with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov who was present cageside. He posted a picture of himself with the undefeated fighter on Instagram.
Joaquin Buckley reveals what he wants next
Joaquin Buckley is fresh from his split decision victory against Abdul Razzak Alhassan and was the talk of the fight week for involving viral sensation Dale Brown as his cornerman.
Speaking to the media about his future plans he said,
“(I want to go) just to the top. But right now I’m going to take some time just to be with my son. He just turned 18 months not that long ago. I really just want to see my son and get back to him, and when the UFC comes calling, I’ll be ready. (I have) no name (in mind). The UFC is going to give me a good matchup, period – a man who does a good job.
