Conor McGregor fired a barrage of tweets, as he hit back at Daniel Cormier

Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier have been going back and forth for more than a week. It all started when McGregor posted an insensitive Tweet about Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father.

The Tweet read: “Covid is good and father is evil?”

Among a ton of notable members from the MMA community who condemned the same, Cormier’s voice stood out, since he was pretty vocal about the same.

The exchange between McGregor and Cormier began there, and is still going on.

Conor McGregor could be the biggest draw in the UFC according to Daniel Cormier

After ‘The Notorious’ called DC a “fat drunk f*ck”, the former heavyweight champ hit out at the Irishman in the latest episode of DC&RC, and also in an interview with Amy Kaplan.

Cormier stated that McGregor must be going after the fighters who beat him, and not against someone who has retired from the sport.

McGregor once again decided to fire back with his usual ‘tweet and delete’ style. The Irishman once again body-shamed Cormier, and called him out for turning up drunk at a media event.

McGregor’s Tweet read:

“Daniel Cormier is a fat mess. Getting into worse condition by the day. God bless him. Showing up drunk at media events the very day before he was in the booth calling my fight. Drunk at a media event working? The day before being a commentator on the biggest fight in history?”

Stating that arriving drunk to a presser was a sackable offense, McGregor called DC disgraceful:

“It is a sackable offense for a commentator to be drunk at press work the day before commentating theb ig fight. Dreadful! Get it together. Belching in the mic at a press event and an all wtf. The day before commenting the big fight? Is this guy serious? Disgraceful.”

Conor McGregor congratulates Jon Jones on his head kick KO anniversary

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier were a part of one of the greatest light-heavyweight rivalries of all time. At UFC 214 in July 2017, Jones, making his return to the UFC after 15 months, earned a head kick KO victory over Cormier.

However, it was later deemed a no-contest after Jones tested positive for a Turinabol metabolite.

Despite the fact that it was a no-contest, McGregor took to Twitter to congratulate Jones on his head kick KO anniversary.

McGregor wrote:

“@dc_mma Your back situations just mental too. Your weight and way of life is abysmal. And now drunk at work the day before you commentate a McGregor event? Pitiful. Congrats Jon on his head kick KO anniversary over you. Good always defeats evil? Wasn’t sure you were evil. Fakes.”
