The brand was founded in 2018 and it reached the pinnacle of popularity in no time, thanks to The Notorious. A large part of the brand’s growth has been attributed to ‘The Notorious’.

The news was first broken by Shanken News Daily and Marc Raimondi of ESPN later confirmed the same on Twitter.

McGregor himself then took to Instagram to react to the confirmed $600 million deal. He wrote on Instagram that Proper 12 just started out as a dream, but became the biggest Irish Whiskey in the world, in no time.

He then thanked all the Irish Whiskey fans around the world, and promised them that the brand would reach newer heights soon.

Conor McGregor donates $500 thousand to Boys and Girls Club in Lafayette, Louisiana

McGregor also donated a whopping $500 thousand to Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, hardly a fortnight after Dustin Poirier accusing McGregor of not donating to his charity.

Even more surprising is the fact that the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana was once affiliated to Poirier’s Good Fight Foundation and is also located in the ‘Diamond’s’ hometown of Lafayette.

It is learned that the donation would be used to support the club’s upcoming 2021 Summer Camp and recreation activities in their 6 club sites.

Poirier hasn’t reacted to this news yet.
