Conor McGregor has hinted that a four-part Netflix docuseries will be releasing soon

Conor McGregor suffered a brutal leg break at UFC 264 during the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.

Towards the end of the first round, his left ankle broke, and the Irishman sunk to the canvas, resting himself on his cage.

After a brief check from the officials, he was declared unfit to continue. Poirier had the last laugh in the rivalry (2-1), at least momentarily.

Conor McGregor stress fracture
McGregor will be out of action for months

McGregor was operated on the next day and was discharged a day after the surgery. Once he was back from the hospital he went live on Instagram claiming that he had had stress fractures even before the fight against Poirier.

‘The Notorious’ also divulged that he had been struggling with his ankle for quite a long time.

A plethora of messages hitting out at McGregor for giving excuses emerged. More recently, McGregor hit back at all the critics, posting several photos of himself training with a ‘bad ankle’ ahead of the fight.

He also stated that a Netflix docuseries on this would be released soon.

McGregor tweeted:

“All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world. My 4 part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire bts. I’m gonna title it “Mad Mac’s: Fury Road”

The 13 seconds seemed like he was alluding to his knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 194, which won him the featherweight belt.

Conor McGregor calls himself the GOAT

Following his discharge from the hospital McGregor posted a few more images of his struggle with the left ankle on Twitter:

McGregor captioned it, calling himself the Greatest of All Time:

“Wouldn’t change my journey for no ones! The greatest of all time!”

McGregor might be back in a year, and will probably aim to fight Dustin Poirier in a quadrilogy fight soon.
