“Fun times” – Conor McGregor set to take delivery of new Lamborghini yacht

Conor McGregor will be heading to Italy to christen his son and take delivery of his new Lamborghini yacht.

The Irishman known for his exotic yacht collection, had ordered Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speed boat in October last year.

The yacht, dubbed ‘The Supercar of the Sea’ costs a whopping $3.6 million, can reach speeds of 60 knots, besides possessing a staggering horsepower of 2000 (in each engine).

Following his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, McGregor announced on Instagram that his yacht was ready with the delivery alone pending.

He had been neck-deep in his recovery from the ankle injury he suffered at UFC 264, back then.

More recently, McGregor has slowly begun ditching the cane which has been aiding him while walking. Now that he is almost cane-free, he has decided to leave the United States. He has been in the country for the last four months.

Conor McGregor heading to Vatican to christen his son

On the 17th of May, 2021, Dee Devlin, McGregor’s partner gave birth to her third child – this time, a son. The couple named him Rian.

Announcing on Twitter that he would be leaving the United States soon, McGregor added that he would be heading to Italy to take the delivery of his yacht and christen his son in the Vatican.

His Tweet read:

“A lovely Proper Twelve weekend I am going to have. Tonight and tomorrow. Enjoyment. Relaxation. Optimism! My last weekend in the U.S before I head to Italy to christen my son Rían in the Vatican and to take delivery of my new Lamborghini yacht too. Fun times!”
