Bizarre search over Larissa Pacheco’s sexuality rears ugly head during PFL outing

Larissa Pacheco won her PFL fight but the term ‘Is Larissa Pacheco a man’ was doing the rounds on the internet

This is a great time for MMA stars all across the world as almost every promotion is putting out banging cards with some top quality action.

The PFL had its fair share of problems last year when the Coronavirus pandemic hit. Fortunately, they seem to have dealt with their financial issues quite well and are back sharing some great cards.

The latest one was named PFL 3 and the main event had some controversy with Fabricio Werdum seemingly submitting Renan Ferreira. However, the referee missed that and it was Werdum that lost.

Another big talking point was Kayla Harrison continuing her charge in the MMA scene and winning against Mariana Morais.

The main card had another big talking point surrounding Larissa Pacheco. The Brazilian defeated Julija Pajic but something else did the rounds on the internet.

The 26-year-old Brazilian got the win after just 51 seconds of the first round. Pacheco has a record of 14 wins and four losses but it seems that some users were more concerned about her sexuality and looks.

Is Larissa Pacheco a man was trending a lot on search engines. Other terms linked with the fighter were ‘Transgender MMA fighter’ and even if she was transgender.

This is another example of just how people are more concerned about the history of a fighter and not the fight itself.

This isn’t the first time a search term similar to this has made the rounds. WWE star, Rhea Ripley, also got the same treatment a while back due to her looks.

It isn’t just the female stars that are hit regarding their sexuality. Jordan Leavitt, one of the rising stars in the UFC, was thought to be gay from certain fans. However, he is married and is even expecting his daughter to be born in 2021.

Pacheco got to celebrate her win in style at the event, but the internet proved how vile it can be with such terms trending for a top contender.
