Belal Muhammad, probably, isn’t that far away from a fight against Colby Covington
Belal Muhammad has been brilliant this year. The 33-year old extended his unbeaten streak to 6, following a dominant unanimous decision win over Stephen Thompson at the recently concluded UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Daukaus.
Muhammad jumped 5 places in the welterweight rankings to break into the top 5. He might now be a win away from fighting for the title.
In the wake of this, Muhammad took to Twitter to have a go at number one ranked welterweight, Colby Covington.
Muhammad tweeted:
“I wonder if Colby still pays escorts to have Christmas dinner with him.”
It is worth noting that, Covington is usually known for posting clips and photos where he is flanked by paid models.
Muhammad, meanwhile, might not be just there, but if he does continue his form, it will only be a matter of time before he shares the Octagon with ‘Chaos.’
Belal Muhammad says bring it to Khamzat Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, the dangerous, up and coming welterweight has been on a callout spree ever since his win over Li Jingliang at UFC 267.
‘The Borz’ took to Twitter to post a fan-made poster of himself taking on Belal Muhammad, with the caption: “Let’s gooooo to kill somebody.”
Muhammad, down for whatever, replied with a GIF of ‘The Rock’ implying bring it.
The welterweight division has gained enough steam over the last year, and currently looks like the most happening division in the UFC.
