Khabib Nurmagomedov recently signed a professional football contract with Russian club FC Legion Dynamo
Khabib Nurmagomedov who had been flirting with the idea of playing football professionally, signed a professional football contract with Russian third-tier club FC Legion Dynamo Makhachkala.
‘The Eagle’ is known for his love for the sport, and has often taken to Instagram to post videos of himself playing football with his mates.
FC Legion Dynamo Makhachkala, simply known as FC Legion Dynamo are a part of the Football National League 2, were founded only in 2015. They have been doing quite well since their inception.
Khabib has been registered as a forward and might be making his debut soon.
But now, it seems like his manager Ali Abdelaziz of Dominance MMA isn’t a fan of Khabib signing a professional football contract. At least, that is what his latest Tweet implies.
Abdelaziz quote tweeted ESPN MMA’s latest post mentioning that Khabib “has signed his professional football contract”, with the caption:
“Please take this down.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kamaru Usman are great in their own ways. There was a time after Khabib retired when speculations about a Khabib-Usman fight arose. However, the Dagestani remained true to his word, and never came out of retirement.
In a recent Q&A on his YouTube channel, Khabib’s coach Javier Mendez revealed who between Khabib and Usman is the stronger one.
Here is what the founder of the American Kickboxing Academy had to say:
“I don’t know. I mean, Kamaru Usman will go down as one of the greatest welterweights of all time. Khabib is the greatest lightweight of time. To me, he is the greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all time. And Kamaru, is a different weight class. Yeah man, I don’t know. Until you see it, it’s all speculation. “
