UFC Fight Island 7 results and bonuses: The first UFC show of 2021 was up and ready at Fight Island, Abu Dhabi.
The main event saw Max Holloway take on Calvin Kattar, and it turned out to be a fight that will be remembered for ages.
There were several other big names on the show too. Joaquin Buckley was looking to get another highlight KO in the show.
Li Jingliang and Dusko Todorovic were also two big names to keep a tab on, and this was an incredible event.

The fight card was split into two cards. The preliminary card had five clashes and the main card also had five.
Prelim card
Austin Lingo beats Jacob Kilburn – Decision (Unanimous)
The first fight on the card got off with Austin Lingo getting the win thanks to a unanimous decision.
Vanessa Melo beats Sarah Moras – Decision (Unanimous)
Vanessa Melo also got the win in the first all-female fight as she beat Sarah Moras.
Ramazan Emeev beats David Zawada – Decision (Split)
The third fight of the night saw a split decision being handed out as Ramazan Emeev won the battle.
Carlos Felipe beats Justin Tafa – Decision (Split)
Carlos Felipe also got the win over Justin Tafa thanks to a split decision.
Joselyne Edwards beats Wu Yanan – Decision (Unanimous)
The final clash on the prelim card saw Joselyne Edwards get the better of Wu Yanan.
Main card
Punahele Soriano beats Dusko Todorovic – TKO (Punches)
Todorovic was finally defeated in the UFC thanks to some hard punches by his rival.
Alessio Di Chirico beats Joaquin Buckley – KO (Head kick)
Buckley was on the end of a crazy kick by his rival and that also saw Alessio Di Chirico pick up a bonus.
Li Jingliang beats Santiago Ponzinibbio – KO (Punch)
Li Jingliang got another KO in the main card which took place in the first round itself.
Carlos Condit beats Matt Brown – Decision (Unanimous)
Matt Brown wasn’t happy at all regarding the win but it was Carlos Condit that celebrated the huge win.
Max Holloway beats Calvin Kattar – Decision (Unanimous)
Holloway turned on the style to destroy Kattar and pick up an impressive win.
UFC Fight Island 7 bonuses
Four fighters were handed the UFC bonus of $50,000. Holloway and Kattar both got the $50,000 bonus thanks to the Fight of the Night award.
Two others got the bonus too with Di Chirico and Jingliang got the extra cash thanks to their impressive KOs and won the performance of the night awards.
