Take a look at the fighter salary and purse from the UFC 268 PPV
The UFC 268 PPV lived up to it’s hype in every sense. Filled with knockouts and great fights the event gave the fans something to remember for the rest of their lives. The PPV saw Kamaru Usman further extend his dominance in the welterweight division by beating Colby Covington.
The event also saw the debut of Alex Pereira, considered to be one of the best kickboxers alive. Interestingly he is the only person to have knocked out the current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya ever. Pereira marked his debut with a brutal knockout.

UFC 268 Fighter Purse and Salary
Prelims Fighter Purse and Salary
Edmen Shahbazyan earned $38,000 for his fight against Nassourdine Imavov. Whereas Imavov was able to bag in $44,500 from his fight. Phil Hawes took on Chirs Curtis in the second fight of the prelim card. Hawes earned $26,500 for his win against his opponent. Curtis walked home with $24,500.
Bobby Green earned roughly $110,000 including his performance of the night bonus against AI Iaquinta. Green knocked out his opponent within the first round to earn a spectacular victory over Iaquinta who earned $84,000.
Alex Pereira was making his UFC debut at the UFC 268 and the kickboxer lived up to his hype. Pereira knocked out Andreas Micahilidis with a flying knee. Pereira earned $130,00 in the process which includes his $50,000 performance of the night bonus. Michailidis on the other hand earned almost 10% of what his opponent made, Michailidis walked away with only $16,000 for his fight against Pereira.
Main Card Fighter Purse and Salary
The main card was kicked off by Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler. Gaethje earned a total of $306,000 including his fight of the night bonus. Whereas Chandler bagged in almost $180,000 including his fight of the night bonus as well.
Shane Burgos earned roughly $130,000 for his fight against Billy Quarantillo. Quarantillo bagged in less than half of what his opponent earned as he walked away with $45,000.
Frankie Edgar and Marlon Vera produced an amazing fight and were rewarded with pretty penny. Edgar earned $190,000 whereas his opponent Vera earned 210,000 including his $50,000 performance of the night bonus.
The co-main event of the UFC 268 saw a rematch of the Women’s strawweight title as Zhang Weili attempted to get her title back from Rose Namajunas. Weili was not able to get the victory but ended up being $175,000 richer because of her earnings from the event. Namajunas bagged in $230,000 for her winning effort.
The main event was the highly anticipated Usman vs Covington 2 and proved to be an instant classic. Usman earned roughly $750,000 without the PPV share. Whereas his opponent Covington took home $550,000 also without the PPV share.
