Otis turns heel on WWE SmackDown

Otis debuted a new clean-shaven look during this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown

WWE SmackDown Superstar Otis turned heel after an attack on Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford on Friday. Montez Ford suffered a partial rib fracture and a torn intercostal cartilage.

After attacking Angelo Dawkins behind the scenes, Otis hit the ring to take out Ford. Twitterati saw the funny side to it making various comparisons of the WWE star.

However, Otis showed a bearded look which is why he has created a trademark brand on the show. He was one of the main stories of 2020 after he began dating Mandy Rose on-screen. The two also had an interesting run together, matched by good promos and fights. Otis also was part of Heavy Machinery on NXT, before his move up.

Otis recently joined WWE SmackDown and teamed up with Chad Gable to form a tag team partnership. They are heel figures now after the beatdown delivered to one half of the Street Profits.

It is increasingly likely that the duo that shared a rivalry between Street Profits and Alpha Academy is said to be taken an upcoming pay-per-view.

Former on-screen girlfriend also responded to her ex’s clean shaven look without her seal of approval.

Meanwhile, Mandy Rose and Otis were involved in a romantic storyline in 2019, after Rose went on a winning streak due to Otis’ interference. It involved into a Valentine’s Day date, which was interrupted by Dolph Ziggler.

Later, the introduction of Soniya Deville added more fire with a match between the four wrestlers. Otis and Mandy Rose shared an intimate moment on screen, after winning the match against their rivals. However, Otis is now on WWE SmackDown where he is part of the Alpha Academy.
