Tottenham Opinion: Three Dream summer signings for Pochettino’s Spurs

Tottenham started the season without making a single signing and while various questions were raised about the capabilities of this squad, suffice to say that they have responded strongly with the players available. Back in December, Tottenham were facing a mini injury crisis with their alarming lack of depth coming into the spotlight.

No further additions were made in January either but they were quick to sell off Mousa Dembele. Considering that Spurs are a team aiming to win trophies in the near future, they will have to shell out funds into the transfer market if they have any hope of doing so.

Here are the 3 dream summer signings that Tottenham could make:

Michael Keane

The English centre-half has really come into the fore at Goodison Park since making the switch and he’s also done superbly well to make a starting role his own, despite the presence of top centre-halves like Kurt Zouma and Yerry Mina.

Keane has played 30 games for Everton this season and he’s managed to score a goal along the way as well.

According to Daily Mail, Tottenham are said to be keen on signing the talented 26-year-old, who would be a welcome addition to their ranks.

His defensive positioning and discipline make him the ideal choice to fit into Mauricio Pochettino’s system and bringing the former Manchester United man to North-London must become a top priority.

Jack Grealish

A supremely talented young English prodigy is on the market for a Premier League club and it’s no surprise that Spurs are being mentioned as potential suitors. As suggested by The Mirror, Grealish is a summer target for Tottenham, who should go all out to get their man within the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa’s biggest creative outlet, the sheer quality and composure he shows on the ball at 23 is quite unreal. He has featured in 29 league games for Villa this season and with promotion still a possibility at Villa Park, he should keep a one-track mind. There’s no doubting the youngster’s quality and Tottenham will do well to get him.

Diogo Jota

The Portuguese winger converted into the striker has been in the form of his life in the Premier League this season.

Formerly of Atletico Madrid, the Wolves man has shown the world what he’s capable of while playing alongside Mexican sensation Raul Jimenez this season. They’ve both managed to bring the best out of each other and his versatility is an added bonus.

As suggested by the Express, Tottenham are targeting Diogo Jota as they look to fill the void that is left in the squad whenever English talisman Harry Kane picks up a knock.

While Son Heung-Min has done well in his absence, the addition of a recognised striker is only going to help Spurs cause and that’s why this move could end up being an absolute master-stroke.
