Cervantes made her wrestling debut in late 2014 with Supreme Pro Wrestling battle royal in Sacramento, California. She joined the cast of Lucha Underground in season 2 as Kobra Moon, as a leader of the Reptile Tribe.
Rosa went on to play for Ring of Honor, Tokyo Joshi Pro, Women of wrestling which she still is a part of, and National Wrestling Alliance, where she made her debut in 2019, defeating Ashley Fox. Thunder defeated Allysin Kay to capture the NWA World Women’s Championship title and became the first Mexican-born wrestler to win it.
Cervantes made her debut for AEW on August 22, 2020, against Serena Deeb and defeated her. She successfully defended her NWA Women’s Championship against Ivelisse on Dynamite.
Thunder and Britt Baker became the first women to central event Dynamite, where Rosa defeated Baker in an Unsanctioned Lights Outmatch, highly praised by critics. After 11 months it Rosa had officially signed a full-time deal with AEW.
Rosa also made her Impact debut on July 17, 2021, in its Slammiversary PPV against Deonna Purrazzo.
