Alcaraz fell behind against Djokovic in the first set but then powered his way back to win the match 6-7(5), 7-5, 7-6(5) and reach the final of the Madrid Open. It was also a sensational achievement as he previously beat ‘King of Clay’ Rafael Nadal in the previous round.

Now, he is expected to face the winner of the second semi-final between Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Fans on Twitter were also quick to react to Alcaraz beating another tennis legend at such a tender age.
