WWE Superstar Omos opens about a funny iPod incident when he first moved to the U.S.A
Omos has been a rising star in WWE ever since his debut on the main roster. Having got praise from the likes of Undertaker to other Hall of Famers has certainly given The Giant One the confidence he needed.
The latest Out of Character Podcast episode with Ryan Satin saw Omos talk about a funny iPod buying incident when he first moved to the U.S.
He mentioned that when he first came to the U.S., he had some money given by his parents, and he wanted to buy an iPod but ended up buying Microsoft Zune, which looks almost similar to that.
“You Guys remember the old iPod you know, the little circle that you could watch the music videos on it. I was just like, this is amazing, so I wanted one. I remember when I came, my parents put a thousand dollars in my sock when I got on that flight, and I had a lay over in Atlanta. There was a little electronic shop at the airport, and I’m like, oh, they probably sell Ipods. So I got there n I’m like do you have an iPod, and they are like, oh, it’s Christmas , so we are all sold out, but we have an iPod Zune, and if you remember the Microsoft Zune, it looks very similar. So I’m like, oh, its cool, this is the same thing, and this is like 120 gigs, and I’m like, okay, give it to me, and so that’s how I bought the Zune.”
Omos had to do a lot of struggle before making it big in WWE. Since he comes from a small town in Nigeria. This is just the beginning for the big man. We hope to see more.
Former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Omos comments about his former Stablemate
The 27-year old talked during the podcast about his relationship with his former partner and mentor, AJ Styles. He mentioned that Styles is like a brother to him and praised him greatly.
“AJ Styles, man. I can go on about how amazing and wonderful that man is. He has been such a blessing to me not only in the ring but outside of the ring. He has become my big brother. I can talk to him about anything. We have long talks, and even [with] us being separated now, I ask for his feedback on everything because I truly have reverence for him.”
They won the Raw Tag Team Championship title at WrestleMania 37 against New Day.
