The toughest boss fight in Terraria is arguably against The Twins, two monsters with excellent HP and Skills that will be a nightmare for everyone in Terraria.

The Twins Boss comes under the hard-level difficulty of Terraria, you have to beat the Twins to unlock the other Hardmode boss battles of Terraria. The Twins are more or less similar to the pre-hard mode boss named Eye of Cthulhu. The Twins’ skills are almost equal to that of the Eye of Cthulhu boss. The Twins, Spazmatism and Retinazer have insane stats and powers.  Retinazer the mechanical red-eyed boss unleashes red projectiles and fires lasers. And the other boss Spazmatism the green-eyed and mechanical-mouth boss unleashes cursed flames and fires projectiles. To tackle the two bosses in Terraria, you must have the best set of weapons and protection.

Blow Gun along with Ichor Darts, Dart Rifle, Dart Pixel, Spider Armor, and Frost Armor, can be your best weapons to take on the Twins in the boss fight. The battle against The Twins is held in two phases, check our guide here to defeat the mighty Twins.

Phase 1

The Twins come up with Frost, Ranged, and Charged attacks initially. You need to use the Frost Armor to counter their fast-charged attacks. Never use melee weapons as they are resistant to melee attacks. You need several Healing Potions, and Campfires along with a Skybridge structure to avoid damage.

Then the bosses come with Frost moves, Lasers, and Flame projectiles. You can use both Spider and Titanium Armor to negate their attacks. You can attack either Spazmatism or Retinazer, and focus on one of them in the first phase of the boss fight, as both of them become inevitable during phase two. It’s better to kill Spazmatism in the first phase. Use your best weapons, deal damage, and attack the boss continuously to kill him. After some time, you will be prompted to the second phase, but make sure that Spazmatism is killed before proceeding.

Phase 2

Now phase 2 begins against Retinazer. You can deploy frost burn, cursed inferno debuffs, and ice bow to take him on. Spider Armor will be your best shield protection, keep attacking him until his health drains. Inflict severe damage, as Retinazer becomes fragile after Spazmatism gets killed. You need to keep attacking him, and also dodge his Frost and Ranged moves. The boss battle against the Twins in Terraria ends after both of them are killed. Once the boss fight against The Twins is done, you can proceed to complete the other Terraria boss fights and get your rewards.
