Juan Martin Del Potro was as anxious as any other Argentine fan around the globe as the World Cup quarter-final headed to Extra Time after Argentina conceded a very late goal against the Netherlands. British tennis star, Heather Watson shared a video on Twitter where del Potro can be seen completely stressed out while watching the match on a television set. It did end well for del Potro and Argentina eventually, as they went on to win in tie-breakers and qualify for the semi-finals.

Heather Watson shared the clip with fans on social media with the caption: “@delpotrojuan is more stressed than 2009 @usopen right now! Can we get a towel & a sick bucket over here please for the extra time .” She made a clear reference to the thrilling men’s singles final at the 2009 US Open. On that day, del Potro scripted history by defeating the then five-time champion Roger Federer in the final, 3–6, 7–6, 4–6, 7–6, 6–2 in a thrilling clash.
