Hurricane Ian has caused devastating damage in Florida leaving residents without electricity, drinking water or inhabitable homes. The storm destroyed roads, uprooted trees and set cars afloat, leaving behind uncountable ruined homes and businesses. The scale of wreckage comes as a shock and surprise even for Florida residents who had survived and rebuilt after other powerful hurricanes.

Bouchard made a comeback to the WTA tour in August this year after a long lay-off due to injury. Her latest tournament was the Korea Open last week where she suffered a first-round exit. She will be next seen in action at the Transylvania Open in Romania. She has received a wild card entry but will have to play the qualifiers to make it to the main draw.
