Fans got a glimpse of the former world No. 1 playing tennis at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy in New York, thanks to a video that has gone viral on the internet. The 14-second video features the legendary player hitting some of his mesmerizing strokes.

Federer wrote in his retirement post that he will not be playing professional tennis. However, he did not rule out playing at exhibition events. Fans will be happy to see the stalwart playing once again, irrespective of the stature of the tournament.

Federer was greeted by a huge crowd that applauded him while he made his entrance in a brown suit, looking stylish as ever.

He posted a picture of himself on Instagram from a hall that had several posters of some of the most unforgettable moments of his career.
