Rafael Nadal is still training despite the coronavirus

Rafael Nadal sent an update to his fans via a tweet on his social media page in the course of the pandemic coronavirus outbreak.

The ATP has suspended all tours for six-weeks due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Nadal has also taken measures into his own hands.

An inspiration to budding tennis players and other sports personalities, Nadal once again proved why he still manages to be one of the best in the business.

The Spaniard recently came up with a tweet in his social media handle informing his millions of fans and followers that he was fine and was making good use of his time by doing some physical exercises.

He also advised the public to follow the recommendations and stay safe until things go back to normal.

His translated tweet reads: “Hi everyone. I am fine, at home, doing physical exercise and following the orders and recommendations of the authorities. I hope you are all well and at home.”

Nadal had shared the message to the public along with an open letter wherein he mentions that his academy at Mallorca has been closed in a bid to avoid any kind of infection from outside.

Diego Schwartzman hopes common sense prevails

Argentine tennis star Diego Schwartzman hopes that common sense will prevail regarding the ATP rankings during this time of concern.

Players are also clouded by uncertainty over their rankings during this period. The ATP hasn’t highlighted this issue and many feel if they will lose points now.

“As the tournaments have been suspended, the ranking should be frozen. It should be frozen or an average should be done.”

Schwartzman also added that he is one among many other ATP players who share a common WhatsApp group where they discuss issues regarding Coronavirus.
